Warranty reviews (WR) cover the specific portions of the home owners warranties for new homes in British Columbia. According to the Homeowner Protection Act and regulations, new homes built in B.C. by licensed residential builders must be covered by mandatory, third-party home warranty insurance. These reports can identify and document deficiencies which is fair to current and future owners. These include the 2 year review on materials and labour, the 5 year review on building envelope as well as the 10 year review on structure.
